A Big WOO HOO! and WELCOME to You

A Big WOO HOO! and WELCOME to You

Hello there, friends!  I’m so happy today is here. We have been working on this new site for months.  And months.  I ducked out of site on my blog for a few weeks until it was finally completed, and now here we are.  I’m so thankful!

I owe a huge debt of thanks to Barton Damer and Ben Stewart for this awesome design.  I think I might be the worst person to deal with in terms of communicating what I like in design.  I’m one of those frustrating people who can articulate what I don’t like, but not necessarily what I like.  I’m thankful for their long-suffering.  I love everything they’ve done so much.  And I covet their mad skills. Thanks, Barton and Ben!

Ben has coded, laid out, and single-handedly brought this site to life.  I’m so grateful to him.  And I can’t recommend him highly enough, should you ever need a superhero website/blog mastermind.  Thanks, Ben!

And a special thanks to KMac, my ministry administrative assistant, who walked with Ben through every decision, making sure the site is as on target as it can be.  Thanks, KMac!

For years, I’ve wanted to pull my blog and my website together.  It just never happened. Until now. It just makes more sense to have it all together like this.  Take a gander, and check it out.  I really hope you like it. We will be tweaking and refining as time goes by.

There’s a lot of life going on over here at the Cottrell household.  It’s a good week to be jumping back in.

Thanks for coming by!

Woo Hoo is right! The site is great, and I look forward to being able to keep up with your blog. With prayers as you continue in ministry. . .

Nice site, Travis! I love reading your blog, but I typically read all my blogs through google reader and it says there is no feed for this site to read it on google reader. Could you have your techie person look into that? =)

Thanks for the feedback, Stephanie. We are, at this very moment, in the process of adding the RSS feeds. 🙂

Great to have people around you that have the gifts that you don’t! The website looks fabulous. Now you better utilize their hard work and blog now and then. : )

Travis! I so love that your blog and website are here together. My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Metro 2 Music Conference in Birmingham last month. I gave Steve Green your message and he said, “I love Travis.” So does Georgia Jan…aka Gran Jan.

    Blessings!

Came by to hear an Idol blurb from someone who really knows how to sing. Jacob got my vote. And look what I find here!! Love the Look! The Arcade brings me to a place I stood in Caesarea next to King Herod’s stunning palace by the sea—where Paul sat as a prisoner and was sent on to Rome, Acts 23:23. Paved marble floors should have honored Paul but confined him to a prison portico. So what’s the story?

Kudos to everyone on the new site — it is awesome!! I love your music & have almost worn out Jesus Saves, but thank you for not having the music play automatically when the site opens. 🙂
Prayers for you and the family….may God bless you beyond your imaginations this year.

THAT explains it…Ben helped with this! That’s why it’s sorta Shaun-Groves-y! Love it!

Now, the title of this post…sounds like Miss Pattycake helped you with that! 😉
