A Trip To Charlotte

A Trip To Charlotte

A couple of weekends ago, I headed to Charlotte, NC for a Living Proof Live event. I took this dude with me.

My boy Levi and I had the best time hanging out, just the two of us. We got there a day early so we could do this:

Good thing is that we ate healthy.

I introduced him to my favorite fruit snack.

He had a great time at the event, and even helped our video guy Stephen with some of his VJ’ing.

We mugged for the camera a lot.

Flight attendant creepin’ on our pic!

Of course, everything is better in NC. This pimento cheese burger and sweet potato tater tots made me rededicate my life.

I introduced my boy to some cool things on this trip. But perhaps none so profound as Cheerwine (a NC soft drink) from a fountain.

Plum tuckered.

This boy is well loved by all who know him. His Aunt Beth included.

His mom and I pretty much love him so much we can hardly stand it.

All in all, it was a top ten kind of weekend. The Lord was gracious to grant me these precious memories with my third born. And He was gracious to meet us ALL at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte. The power of God by His Spirit and through His Word always manages to steal the show. I’m so grateful.

Wow! You DO still blog! I got busy and moved to KY in July, and I was happily surprised to come back and see so many posts! My daughter woke up and came downstairs while I was reading. After looking over my shoulder, she’s decided she wants to marry Levi when she grows up–but I think it’s just for the candy! 🙂

Travis what an awesome time you all had and some great memories loved the picture of the airline attendant getting in the picture as well. I am glad you love your family as much as you do it is very evident in your life how much you love your family.
And I am thankful for you and your music everytime I put your cd on Jesus Saves you lead me into worship and one day I was at the gym working out and had some of your music on my mp player and I was so in worship and praising God and I wanted to lift my hands and shout at the top of my lungs but I didn’t because thought people would think what is going on with that lady.
But your music blesses can’t wait for your new cd to come out so excited.

My 13 yr old son Jordan and I went to Charlotte to the Living Proof Conference. He loves Beth and wanted to go, knowing that there would be mostly women. He stood in the long lines, waiting in the heat to get in and never complained. He absolutely loved it! The worship was increduble! We worshiped together, mother and son. What a blessing from God. Then the word, HOLD FAST was exactly what he needed. He started 8th grade this week and was talking about the cheer we learned. We had such a wonderful weekend together and bonded closer to the Lord and to one another. Thank you for giving of your time to bless our lives. I really thought I was in Heaven.

Thank you for leading us in such wonderful song last Saturday, Sept 10th. I saw the simulcast from First Baptist Church in Franklin, KY.

I did not realize that I was a fan of yours until today….. I was playing my favorite songs on my iPod and “Search Me Know Me” starts playing….. I look down and see your name. Kudos for recording my all time favorite song.

    Your new fan,
    Tina
