All Hail The Queen

All Hail The Queen

The queen of my life – my beautiful and amazing bride – is having a birthday today.

When I married this dream almost 14 years ago – – that was one SERIOUS life-upgrade.

Baby – Happy Birthday! I love you! And I’m not going to tell anybody how old you are. Or that it ryhmes with shorty.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mrs. Angela!! It was so great to finally meet you guys last week after hearing about you for so long! Kathy braggs about you all the time, and rightfully so! You are too beautiful, and one of the sweetest women I’ve ever met!

Oh, my WORD I hope I look that great when I turn, um, “shorty” in a few months. Happy, happy birthday!

Okay, I had no idea you had a blog. I was so excited to follow this link from Laurel’s. I LOVE your music, and my (soon-to-be-11-year-old) son is a huge fan as a result of hearing me play the “Found” CD, during a season when it was practically my soundrack. He has said in the past (to his sister and his friends) “Travis Cottrell has the *best* voice in the world. Can you name *any*body who has a better voice than Travis Cottrell?” When they’d pause to think, he said, “See? You can’t…. Because he has be *best* voice in the world.” 🙂

Thank you for how you have blessed us (and helped my son to apprecieate excellence.)I pray God’s richest blessings to you in your ministry, and to your sweet wife on her birthday and Mother’s Day weekend.

How sweet!!! Happy Birthday Angela! I am sure you are not “shorty” today. Don’t worry, I will soon be “shorty” three. I love getting older, I don’t worry about things like I used to. I pray God blesses you with the best day ever!!

    Happy Birthday!!

You’ve got to tell us how you feel about turning “shorty.”
I thought I was cool and didn’t even care until “THE MORNING!” EEK! I was so depressed! But the morning after I was back to cool.
Thanks for sharing your man with so many women all these years. You are a “Queen of Hearts.”

Travis, sorry to interrupt the birthday party but I have a special request for the Deeper Still Event in September. I’m going to be there but at the Belmont satellite location. Could you consider prayerfully using some praise and worship songs that have a Hebrew sound? So many of us have been praying for the peace of Jerusalem and waiting breathlessly for Christ’s return! Even though my family’s not Jewish, I feel a strong link to Israel. My sister even wears a Star of David pendant…
Shalom…Grace…Peace to you all and thanks for hearing my request.

    Happy Birthday!
From one “Mrs. C” to another, Happy Mother’s Day too!!

‘Shorty?’ You have GOT to be kidding me!!

PS – Travis, I need you to know that you took placed in a battle of the bands today and you won. So I wanted to congratulate you! Yes – I know you didn’t even know you were involved, but … Haha. I was out by the pool listening to you with my iPod and enjoying some Jesus. A couple came out shortly thereafter and had their radio turned up so loud that I suppose they thought the rest of us around wanted to have a dance party with their selected tunes 🙂 So I turned you up. (Still not loud enough). Turned the volume up some more (Still not enough). Turned it up some more (times 5 now). GOOD STUFF! Yes sir – Travis Cottrell won the battle of the bands today in GA! Praise be to Jesus for loud iPod volumes!

I am happy and honored to win my first ever battle of the bands!

As they say here in South Alabama…

    You outkicked your coverage!

She’s beautiful and I know you KNOW you’re lucky!

I turned the rhymes with shorty this year too…it’s not so bad! Sure beats the alternative!

I just found your blog and enjoyed you and your team so much when you visited Seattle with Beth Moore this past February. I’ve been enjoying your music from itunes ever since.

I love how you described your wife and the upgrade of your life. So sweet and, I’m sure, accurate. She doesn’t look a day over “flirty.”

    Bless you both!
