Got Skills?

Got Skills?

We’ve been looking to recruit some more people who are in our church to be a part of our growing instrumental team here at Englewood. So Pastor Ben and I thought that maybe our church body would be encouraged by us exhibiting some of our mad training skillz. We hope this effort will not intimidate others with our aerobic and musical prowess, but will in fact do the opposite, welcoming people to join our group.

Seriously. We are just normal people. Don’t be intimidated. (Ahem)

Wait a minute. Did I say normal?

Wow, I wish I lived close to your Church. This one made me smile and what a fantastic recruitment! Loved it.

I would love to live close enough to dust off my poor neglected alto saxophone, get it (and my embouchure) in shape, and join you guys, Travis! May God richly bless you with instruments to join in praise! =)

What a great laugh to start the day!
Travis, I gotta know. Have you tried the Cheerwine filled donuts from Krispy Kreme yet? AWESOME! And with chocolate on top. Now I’m drooling, wishing I had one. I found them at Kroger. There was a bright light around them, drawing me in.

Travis, I was just over at LPM and blessed by Beth’s latest blog post. . Also my daughter and I watched the video of Charlotte, NC with you singing “Holy.” She said, “mom who’s that? He’s really good!” I told her, and hopped over here from Beth’s blog. I have cracked up laughing at this video! HIL-AR-I-OUS! I needed a good laugh! If I didn’t live all the way out here on the east coast (Virginia Beach area) I’d pack up my Korg Triton Studio, and haul it out there, just to have a chance to goof off, and of course allow the LORD to create some beautiful music for His glory!
Glad to see you all having some good fun!
May God continue to bless your ministry as you serve Him, for His glory.
To God be the glory! Without Him I can do nothing.

Hey Travis! I don’t know if you read these but…I am in Nashville with some friends who are attending the MOPS conference and I JUST found out you are leading worship…well…I could use some worship, though I can’t afford to register for the conference just to attend some worship services…I have no shame…If you don’t ask you won’t receive…so…can you help me get in for one of the services…I am also just hanging around the Gaylord and Nashville catching up on Scripture and seeing the sites. I am writing this from Dunn Bros coffee and as a Starbucks Barista I am here to tell you it is PHENOMENAL! If you haven’t tried it…DO IT!
