Simulcast Sangover

Simulcast Sangover

Hey, friends. I hope your Monday is off to a great start. I’m not embarrassed in this pic. I’m not hiding. I’m not asleep. But I AM propping myself up. Just every few minutes or so. It was a CRAZY, albeit fantastic weekend.  And I’m good today, even with quite a sangover.

The simulcast was a high-energy, intense offering this past weekend. And it sure was fun. I followed it up with 4 services and a rehearsal on Sunday. My voice, brain and body are giving me an attitude today. But I don’t care. Jesus gives us what we need. And we spend everything we have on Him. I figure it’s a pretty good trade for us, right?!

We had such a blast worshipping with so many people all day on Saturday. I’d love to hear from you about what the Lord was doing where you were on Saturday. I know for us on the team, we turned our worship into warfare in a lot of areas, and made some biblical proclamations about who God says we are as heirs and as victors.  We had some things going on in our own lives that put us in places of brokenness…you know, the best scenario to confess a desperate need for a God-sized work.

Many of you have asked for the song list for the weekend. Here you go:

Victory In Jesus (from Jesus Saves Live)

How Great Thou Art

Our God

The Word of God Has Spoken (from When The Stars Burn Down)

Your Great Name (from Shine Out – Live From The People’s Church)

In Christ Alone (from Jesus Saves Live)

You Are Good (from Unashamed Love)

O My Soul, March On (from When The Stars Burn Down)

Great Is Thy Faithfulness

Revelation Song

Just As I Am (from When The Stars Burn Down)

Always (from Passion: Here For You)

In The First Light (from Ring The Bells)

I hope this list helps. I will post a video recap of the weekend as soon as it is finished. Have a great rest of the day!

Thank you so much for all the hard work you and the team do to make worship such an amazing experience. It’s obvious that God is at work in you and through you. It was great to have Angela singing with you again!
The Lord was moving in the hearts of the women in our church as we participated together. Lives were recommitted. Decisions were made.
    We aren’t fine…we’re faithful!!

So happy for me and 150K others who reaped the benefit of your sangover! I was with you live in Austin and for the simulcast, I joined you from Hot Springs, AR. There are not words that can adequately express the impact you have had on my life. I purchased “When the Stars Burn Down” in Austin and I have played no other CD in my truck since (and listened to nothing else all the way back to Hot Springs!). The songs give me great comfort, courage, and strength. I thank God over and over for bringing you and Beth in my life. I hope you understand when I pray that you always have sangovers! I am Living Proof that sangovers are good!

Hi Travis! I was at the Beth Moore simulcast in Slovang California. It was amazing! My favorite was Just as I Am, an old hymn I have loved since I was a child with a moving additional part that brings it into relevance for today! Thank you, so much for your service to out Lord and Saviour. You are making a difference in people’s lives for the glory of God! Keep on keeping on!!!

Whenever I am blessed to be part of a corporate worship ,I get so excited. I picture all of us in heaven worshipping the Lord!!!What a privelege it is to worship Him adore Him and to ascribe to Him all of His names . He truly is the Alpha and the Omega and if I have to be stuck here on earth in between; the best place place to be is in worship!!! Thank you for your preparation and being the vehicle God used for this worship!! To Him be the Glory!!!

How awesome did all of those voices sound, lifted up in praise and adoration to the King?! The music and lights faded, your team left the stage and the Sovereign Center was still very much alive with music! Thank you so much for leading us in worship. I wondered what the staff at the arena thought when the women continued to sing.

This weekend I recommitted myself to following in obedience to Christ it was such a wonderful experience and the music just prompted me to “march on” and the way you sing Victory in Jesus.. Amen!! I am so hoping you will have a soundtrack of all this music on one cd for purchase in the near future.. I know it would bless many woman 🙂 many of my friends and the church I attended were just so pumped with the worship music, when it was over. we were wanting more.
It would be a blessing when i am feeling down/ or under attack to throw that cd in and raise the praise.
    thank you
Please let us know if that cd will become available 🙂

    Travis and team,
Thank you so much for an amazing time of worship. The entire event will be forever in my heart. I can’t really describe my feelings throughout the event but on Sunday I was on worship team and I have never had a better time praising Him. Thank you again for all of the work and preparations spent on this event. many, many women were blessed and will share the good news!

Saturday was all together, for me, a horrible and beautiful thing. Friday I saw my Dad for the first time since he’s begun to feel the effects of chemo. Saturday at lunch my long time sweet friend told me she had just found out she has cancer – for the 4th time and I went back in after the break feeling crushed, it was too much. I wanted to rip my own heart out just to make the hurt end. The beauty is where Jesus entered into that entire day from the message that Beth brought…and whoa did she bring it!! To every song on your set list! When I wanted to crawl under the pew and shrink back He called me out to stand & march on, His faithfulness is beyond great! To stand & worship and watch my friend give praise to God, to pray with her & hear her willing to get out of the way for God to be glorified in her even now & after knowing her for 20 yrs knowing she means it, it was an incredible day-the Spirit of the living God was poured down from on high!

  13. Michele on September 17, 2012 at 3:33 pm

Travis, thank you so much to you and your team for leading us in worship. I was watching solo from my living room, but I had the volume up and was on my feet with y’all. 🙂

After Beth spoke about pushing the enemy back, as soon as you started “Oh My Soul March On,” some of us were already tweeting, “Yeah, angry praise from SSMT!” haha

We so appreciate you. Get some rest, you deserve it!

  14. Lisa on September 17, 2012 at 3:47 pm

Travis you and your worship team brought down the house on Saturday!!! What an amazing day!!!

  15. Michelle Carter on September 17, 2012 at 4:13 pm

I am still singing the songs in my head. My poor students today, I would be humming while they were trying to read silently. My children are ready for me to change the cd in the van. To prepare for the event, I had been playing “When the Stars Burn Down” all week. To their dismay – still playing today! 🙂 Your team’s worship is so genuine that we can’t help but be caught up in it. Thank you for giving it your all on Saturday! We had a blast!
I love me some angry praise! 😉

  16. Shelly on September 17, 2012 at 5:04 pm

Thank you so much for being such an amazing man of worship. You helped bring all 150,000 of us to the foot of the cross on Saturday. I was at my house watching on my laptop in Portland, Oregon by myself but I participated fully. I was one of those Siestas that Michele mentioned getting my angry praise on. Loved it! I claimed today as “March On In Victory” Monday. But you deserve to take off your marching boots today, put your feet up and rest.
Well done, good and faithful servant!

AMAZING WORSHIP TRAVIS!! Can’t wait until next year!

  18. Miriam on September 17, 2012 at 7:26 pm

I was at the Sovreign Center Saturday and got to experience the praise and worship live. What an experience!! I haven’t been able to put it into words! I felt as though we were about as close to standing before the throne of God as we could possibly be! I thought during the “Revelation Song” …”If this is how it’ll be when we get to heaven and hear the heavenly hosts singing ‘holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty’, then I can hardly wait until I get there!” Thank you for the most moving worship experience I’ve ever experienced in my life! I loved how you ended the time of praise and worship by letting us finish singing totally unaccompanied as you all walked off and into the dark. You allowed us to give all the glory to God for the day instead of accepting the glory for yourselves! What a profound statement that made! You have a real God-given gift and I was so greatful to have the privledge to experience it! God bless you!

Hi, Travis. We were worshipping with you in St. Louis during the simulcast. I have to say, since you asked-of course, that “first light” was a song i used to play over and over and over————-ON MY CASSETTE (remember those?) Your amazing voice and love of Jesus and service to Him was evident in the emotion of those lyrics and i had my hands in the air singing with you (quietly, you can be sure) as you sang out “he knew he’d come back, not as a baby, but as the Lord of every man”. I thank God for you and your dedication to honor Him, the giver of all good gifts who has blessed you with such an amazing talent, and for using that talent to set our hearts to worship “the Lord of every man”. Thank you!

Hey Travis! As a wife of a Music Minister, I can sympathize with your recent “sangover”…church life is wonderful AND can be EXHAUSTING at the same time.
I, personally, grabbed on to the word FEAR, and came to an agreement with God that yes, He will come through, so I can rest in Him.
The sacrifice your team makes for people they will never meet does NOT go unappreciated…

PS…I have to be honest and tell you that the “80’s electric guitar/keyboard song” used to drive me nuts, but I have a new-found respect for it after hearing it live 🙂
(notice I didn’t say the name of it, for fear of retribution!)

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for emptying some oil out of your jars to fill ours! The worship and teaching were phenomenal on Saturday and I feel so renewed and ready to live the life that God has called me to! I am so glad I was able to see it live in Reading!

Blessing to you and your team!

  23. Angela on September 18, 2012 at 1:08 pm

Thank you to you and your team for your service for the Lord at the Beth Moore Simulcast. It was awesome. My friends and I were watching from a church in Charleston, WV. We could feel the Holy Spirit emanating through the screen and from our hearts. I am so glad the Lord laid on your heart to share your set list with us. I happened upon it today! Bless you for your leading of us in praise. It was awesome! Angela

  24. Michelle on September 18, 2012 at 2:32 pm

I wanted to say thank you for your willingness to serve. I receive sheer joy from your services and look forward to every opportunity I have to hear you and the gang share God’s word through song. Keep shining that light!!!! fyi – the simulcast made my 4th Living Proof event in less than 2 years and I receive a fresh and new word each time!

  25. Helen on September 18, 2012 at 3:06 pm

Last spring in a Beth study a lady ask for prayer for her brother who did accept Christ but was not living in Him. Her church teaches salvation can be lost. I was in Reading on the 15th and was overwhlemed by the word to “In Christ alone…No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from his hands”…quess who I was sitting next to..yep that lady..I put my arm around her and said in her ear “Doesn’t this give you confidence in the Lord for your brother ?”

  26. Emilee on September 19, 2012 at 4:55 pm

Saturday. Oh, Travis! I would love to tell you everything ”that went down”, but I’m staying tuned as well! Loving how He is continuing to teach us through life what we heard through you, Beth, and the whole team throughout the whole experience. We got our angry worship on… received a Word… and just had a stinkin’ GOOD time in Clay Center, Kansas! 🙂

  27. LRC on September 19, 2012 at 8:02 pm

I was there in person in Reading at the live event, and need to say THANK YOU for pouring so much of yourself into leading the musical worship for us! I sang my heart out and left with a scratchy throat and a smile. It was amazing, just astounding, to sing with not only the thousands in the arena, but also the many, many thousands all over the globe that were watching.

  28. Karyn on September 20, 2012 at 7:13 pm

Thank you so much for leading us in worship on Saturday. I was at the Sovereign Center in Reading and it was an amazing experience. As one woman already commented, it was a small glimpse of heaven. The way you ended the event was beautiful. Thank you for being a true worship leader and leading us to the Father and not taking credit for yourself. That was so evident in how the event ended. Thank you for serving the Lord.
